The workshop will take place on Tuesday 4th December 2012 between 10am and 4pm at 113-116 Bute Street. It will consist of talks from industry experts, interactive sessions and a Q&A session for potential authors to ask all the questions they need answered.
The workshop offers the chance for like-minded entrepreneurial writers to meet and share their ideas and experiences. Writers will also be able to bring in a page of their writing to be critiqued by the company's editor.
Candy Jar has experience in self-publishing through its imprint Jelly Bean. The aim of the workshop is to help writers understand the self-publishing process and whether it is the right path for them. Writers that are interested in self-publishing will be taught the essential need-to-know basics before deciding whether to embark on a self-publishing project.
Even if you don't want to self-publish, the workshop will give a valuable insight into the world of publishing and will help writers understand what the publishers are looking for.
