Specially selected as an example of audacious storytelling, the book tells the story of Simon’s Native American alter ego, Arion, who with an uncanny ability to talk to animals, witnesses the death and devastation brought about by the white man, and ultimately becomes one of the greatest swordsmen in pre-revolutionary France. In order to survive, Arion is tested to his limits adapting to rapidly changing events – with beliefs very different, and often at odds, with his own.

About the Author

Aware of his past life from an early age, Simon Marcus Caines sought spiritual awareness through both internal and external Martial Arts disciplines. He also developed a passion for running, which he would often do barefoot, evoking memories of his past life as the Mohican Brave 'Arion'.

At the age of 17 Simon trained as a nurse before changing course in his late 20s to enroll in art college where, moved by a lifelong passion with aesthetics and, in particular, the Italian Renaissance, he trained to become a Fresco artist.

Simon continues to write, currently working on a second book in which he further explores the fascinating world of astral projection, hypnotism and reincarnation.
